Allison is a second generation backyard bee keeper located in the Champlain Valley in Vermont, having developed an deep interest in honey bees from her grandfather. She passionate about sharing her love and appreciation for honey bees and pollinators with learners of all ages. Allison holds a Vermont State Teaching License with an endorsement in Elementary Education and enjoys exploring with learners of all ages. Allison has experience in public schools at all levels and non-traditional educational programming and camps. For the past 15 years she has worked with learners of all ages at three Vermont State Historic Sites. Currently Allison works in early education at Evergreen Preschool in Vergennes, VT and coordinates the Four Winds volunteer nature program for Vergennes Union Elementary School.
