Debra is the Founder and Development Director of Planet Bee Foundation, based in Washington, DC. With over 40 years of experience in education, she has held various roles including public school teacher, parent education director,  curriculum writer, college professor, college supervisor for student teachers, program director, and executive director. 

For the past 15 years, she has worked closely with schools, community organizations, environmental centers, and corporations to develop Planet Bee’s impactful educational programs. Debra is dedicated to advancing the foundation's mission of equity and inclusion by creating pathways to STEM and conservation, with a focus on providing free programs to students in high-needs school districts.
